9/11 Survivor Recaptures Head of Hair in Retirement
A heralded member of the FDNY sought out Dr. Durante upon retiring. He had Norwood Stage 6 classification hair loss. Dr. Durante completed follicular unit extraction and added “19 additional hairs” beyond what was called for. The 19 additional hairs were one each for the members of his battalion lost in 9/11.
To this day, Dr. Durante remains in touch with this hero who, we are happy to report, is satisfied with the results.
Result: A hero enters his golden years with a new lease on life.
